Occasions by Dress Gallery is a love letter from us to the community. Due to the significant need, and trust the community has placed in us, we saw the opportunity to provide our clients a full circle shopping experience for every age and every occasion.

Dress Gallery is our sister store, and we now have more space between these two locations to expand our inventory. Occasions by Dress Gallery offers prom, homecoming, pageant, mother of the occasion, evening wear, little white dresses, and bridesmaids. Dress Gallery still provides all things bridal and tuxedos. We are eager to continue our level of customer service and expand our product offerings.

April - Owner

April is the founder, owner, CEO, and Head Boss Babe of Occasions by Dress Gallery. She started in the bridal world over 2 decades ago with a dream, determination, and a WHOLE BUNCH of mother’s gowns. Over the years, she’s flourished her business into a thriving staple of the Wichita community. You can usually see her running all over the store to assist our team wherever needed. April is a graduate of Pittsburg State University, where she met the love of her life, Jason. They got married in 2001, and instead of children they opted to raise cows on the side. April is a fitness enthusiast and an avid traveler, constantly jet-setting around the globe to check off countries from her bucket list. As much as she can, she loves to visit her home in Taiwan and introduce her loved ones to her family back there.

Cassidy - Stylist

Need a girl who can do it all? Meet Cassidy! Cassidy started with OBDG at the end of 2022, and we have enjoyed every minute. A born and raised Kansas native, Cassidy is passionate in helping women of all ages look and feel their best. In her free time you'll catch her at her favorite gym training others or cuddling with her cats!

Katy - Stylist

We are so honored to have Miss Katy on our team! Her leadership in retail extends over 20 years and loves to work with people. Katy cherishes styling customers for their big life events. Interested in astrology and crystals? Katy will give you the latest lowdown as to what's happening!

Madelyn - Stylist

Madelyn is a passionate stylist with a love for helping women feel beautiful and confident for their special occasions. She has a BFA in Dance Performance from Wichita State University and brings her artistic eye and dedication to every client she assists. In addition to her role at Occasions, Madelyn coaches the Northwest High School Dance Team, where she thrives on empowering young women to reach their full potential. Whether it's for a prom, wedding, or any milestone event, Madelyn is committed to ensuring every woman finds the perfect dress to make her shine.
